Privacy statement
The 'Foundation for Restoring European Ecosystems' (FREE Nature), also owner of the registered brand name 'Wildernisvlees' and of 'Natuurlijke Begrazing B.V.', located at De Balmerd 4 6641 LD in Beuningen the Netherlands, is responsible for the processing of personal data as reflected in this privacy statement.

Personal data we process
FREE Nature processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide them to us yourself. Below is an overview of the personal data we process:
- First and last name
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
- Bank account number
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data on website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16 years. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children's online activities to avoid collecting data on children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@freenature.nl and we will delete this information.
FOR WHAT PURPOSE AND ON WHAT BASIS WE PROCESS PERSONAL DATA
FREE Nature processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Handling your payment
- Sending our newsletter
- Calling or emailing you, either ourselves or through one of our Wildernisvlees collection points, if necessary to carry out our services
- To offer you the opportunity to create an account
- To be able to deliver your Wildernisvlees-order to your chosen pickup point
Automated decision making
FREE Nature does not make decisions based on automated processing about things that can (significantly) affect individuals. Automated decisions are decisions made by computer programs or systems, without monitoring by a person (like an employee of FREE Nature). FREE Nature uses the following computer programs or systems: Microsoft Office and a website with a online shop based on Drupal CMS.
HOW LONG WE KEEP PERSONAL DATA
FREE Nature will not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:
Personal data namely: personal information, address details, phone number, email address and bank account number. Retention period: as long as your account is active or up to 1 year after your email address no longer receives newsletters.
SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
FREE Nature does not sell your information to third parties. We will provide your data only if necessary to fulfill our agreement with you, or to comply with any legal obligation. With companies (such as Wildernivlees collection points) that process your data on our behalf, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure a level of security and confidentiality of your data. FREE Nature remains responsible for this processing.
COOKIES, OR SIMILAR TECHNIQUES, THAT WE USE
FREE Nature uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. FREE Nature uses cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website works properly and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. These cookies are also used to make the website work properly and to optimize it.
You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. In addition, you can also delete any information previously stored through your browser settings.
VIEW, CORRECT OR DELETE DATA
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You can do this yourself via the personal settings of your account. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your possible consent to data processing or object to the processing of your personal data by our company and you have the right of data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data that we hold about you in a computer file to you or another organization named by you.
If you wish to exercise your right of objection and/or right to data portability or if you have other questions about the data processing, please send an itemized request to info@freenature.nl.
To make sure that the request for inspection is made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with this request. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.
FREE Nature will respond to your request as soon as possible, but in any case within four weeks. FREE Nature would also like to point out that you have the opportunity to file a complaint with the national regulator, the Dutch Personal Data Authority.

FREE Nature takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
